Pantry move

BETHEL — The District Exchange Committee will meet at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, March 31, in the Telstar High School library.

Discussion will continue on possible sites for the food pantry and exchange, which provides clothing and other items for people in need.

The District Exchange has been located in the basement of the former Ethel Bisbee School for nearly 20 years. However, because the SAD 44 central office is moving from the school, the building will be mothballed.

RUMFORD — There will be a tie-dye night at La Paresseux Snow Shoe Club, 227 Waldo St., on Saturday, April 2. The price for members will be $3, and for nonmembers it will be $5.
