Cabin fever dance

MECHANIC FALLS — Oxford Hills Chamber of Commerce will sponsor a Cabin Fever Dance and Auction – Sports Style on Saturday, April 2, at the Silver Spur. Doors will open at 7 p.m. Live music by Peter Allen and Hurricane Mountain Band will start at 8.

LEWISTON — Lewiston Senior Citizens will meet at 1:15 p.m. Monday, April 4, at the Multi-Purpose Center. Diane Williams from Museum L-A will be the speaker.

Cribbage results

LEWISTON — The Lewiston Senior Citizens Cribbage League winners at the Multi-Purpose Center on March 24 were:

First, Anita Cusson and Aaron Burke; second, Cecile LeBlond and Lorraine Fillion; third, Don Maillette and Bob LeClair; fourth, Norm Bissonnette and Roger Labbe; fifth, Arnie Burgess and Gerry Therrien.

Bridge play

LEWISTON — The Lewiston-Auburn Bridge Club winners at the Multi-Purpose Center on March 22 were as follows: first, Jeanine Kivus and David Lock; second, Anna Vitiello and Dick Allen; third, Kathleen Burden and Mary Ann Trafton.

Winners at Schooner Estates in Auburn on March 23 were as follows: first, Anna Vitiello; second/third tie, Tom Dahlberg with Claire Lyons; fourth, Jim Smedley.

Plant sale

LEWISTON — The Androscoggin Valley Soil and Water Conservation District has a collection of conservation products that give an opportunity to recycle kitchen scraps, plant native conservation seedlings and reduce water usage.

The conservation plant sale list and order forms for the native plant and compost bin/rain barrel package are available at www.androscogginswcd.net or call Jane Heikkinen, 753-9400, ext. 400, to mail a copy of the annual sales.

Orders and payment are required by May 6. Pick-up date for all items will be from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 21, at the Lewiston district office parking lot behind the USDA Service Center, 254 Goddard Road.
