AUBURN — Members of Readers Theater at Community Little Theatre are announcing their spring season tour of area nursing homes and senior living centers starting Monday, April 4.

This is the third year (with a spring and fall season each year) that they perform gratis on Mondays as a community service at these venues.

The actors have been rehearsing the past eight weeks with two comedies and, something new this season, two dramatic readings of poetry being presented as ensemble pieces. The opening performance will be at the Chapman House on Monday, April 4.

The spring destinations include the Auburn Esplanade, April 11; the Meadows, Greene, April 18; Montello Heights April 25; Odd Fellows, May 2; Schooner Estates, May 9; Roak Block, May 16; and Barker Mills, May 23.

Plans for the fall season are already in progress, with the Play Reading Committee, Lu Farrington, chairwoman; Irma Penn and Judy Webber, researching new material.
