Joseph “Joey” Roger Page
LEWISTON – Joseph “Joey” Roger Page, 51, of Livermore Falls, passed away Tuesday, August 31st, with his family by his side. It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn his passing. He was born July 25, 1970, in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, the son of Shirley Ann (Edwards) Page and Francis Roger Fournier. Joey grew up loving to play hockey. He began playing in the street with the older kids in the neighborhood before taking his love of hockey ice to the ice. If there was a stick involved, he was there. At the age of 17, Joey joined the United States Navy, which brought him to Maine, and became his home. Joey once said that while growing up, he would seek out groups of trees and this would be his forest. He always knew that he belonged in Maine. He worked as a skilled carpenter and was extremely talented. He enjoyed listening to music, hunting, hiking, gardening, playing pool and cooking for his family and friends. He loved spending as much time as he could at his camp on the river in Brownville, where he met some of the most amazing people who soon became his family. He was like an uncle to many children. He loved kids and loved teaching them. Joey loved huge! When he loved you, there was no doubt about it. He loved with his whole heart! He was a member of the Hillside Sports Club and the Lane- Dube Amvets Post #33, both in Jay. Joey will be lovingly remembered by his companion Pam Morris, her children; Dwayne, Douglas and Devin, and grandchildren; Addison, Austin, Grace and Maxwell, his siblings; Robyn, Lori, Jackie and her husband Bill, Kim, David and Rick.
