Albert Ovila Audette
SABATTUS – Albert Ovila Audette, 81, a resident of Sabattus, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, September 1, 2021, at Central Maine Medical Center following a brief illness.He was born in Lewiston on December 4, 1939, a son of Fern and Lillian Audette. Al attended Lewiston schools and was employed by several local businesses, ending his career as a maintenance worker at Bates College, before retiring in 2005.Al enjoyed playing cards with a wide circle of friends and family and attending services at his home parish of Our Lady of the Rosary in Sabattus. Al was a Fourth Degree Knight of the Knights of Columbus, Basilica of Saints Peter & Paul Knights of Columbus Council #106, Lewiston.The family would like to thank Al’s care team at Central Maine Medical Center for their outstanding attention and kindness.Survivors include his fiancé, Lorraine Bolen of Lewiston and his two daughters, Tina Weden and husband, Sam, of South Portland, and Nancy Linehan and husband, Dave, of Lewiston, sister Anita Ellingson of Flint, Michigan, and brother Henry Audette and wife, Nancy, of Odessa, Florida.Also surviving are four grandchildren, Noah Brown and partner, Dr. Erick Velez, MD, of Boston, Massachusetts, Brian Weden, of Somerville, Massachusetts, Kevin Weden of South Portland, and Silas Weden of Northampton, Massachusetts.Online condolences may be shared at http://www.thefortingrouplewiston.com.
