John M. St. Onge

FRYEBURG – John M. St. Onge, 58, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday Sept. 5, 2021, at home. He was born August 21, 1963, in Lewiston, a son of Ronald and Colleen (Saltis) St. Onge. John was a graduate of St. Domonic Catholic school in Auburn.

John was an avid sports fan and always cheered for the New England sports teams. He also played hockey and was a proud member of the Lewiston and Auburn travel team with St Dominics hockey team.

He was employed at the Paris Farmers Union where he loved to work with is colleagues and had a strong bond with all types of animals. He also loved to farm and was a constant reader of many books.

He was preceded in death by his loving father, Ronald; and his sister, Catherine Murphy; along with several aunts and uncles.

He is survived by his loving family, his mother Colleen St. Onge; his brother, Tom St. Onge, his children Michael, Heidi and Mark; his loving companion, Julie Delisle and his stepchildren Sasha, Sherry, and Shania along with his step-granddaughter, Neveyah; his brother-in-law, Gerald Murphy along with his children Kerry, Daniel, and Kathryn Murphy; along with his dear friends Pricilla and Bob.

The family will greet friends on Saturday Sept. 11 from 11 to 1 p.m. in the Wood Funeral Home, 9 Warren St., Fryeburg, burial will take place Mt. Hope Cemetery on Tuesday Sept. 14, at 11 a.m.
