NORWAY — Three people have taken out nomination papers for two seats on the Board of Selectmen in the June 14 annual town election.
Town Clerk Shirley Boyce said incumbents Warren Sessions and Bill Damon have taken out nomination papers. Wesley Wentworth, a one-time selectman candidate, has also taken out papers.
Wentworth, who has served on several town boards, ran unsuccessfully for a seat on the Board of Selectmen in 2010 in a four-way race for two seats against incumbents Bruce Cook and Irene Millett and newcomer Michael Twitchell. Millett and Twitchell won the positions.
Donald Gouin, a longtime director with the Oxford Hills School District Board of Directors, is also seeking re-election.
In other election news, Norway Memorial Library Trustees Dareth Law and Errol Libby are also up for re-election.
Nomination papers are available at the town office.
