FARMINGTON — Eleanor F. Hinkley, 90, formerly of Strong, died early Sunday morning at Franklin Memorial Hospital.

She was born Nov. 19, 1920, a daughter of Raymond and Madeline R. (Lawton) Pinkham and received her education in Strong schools. She was a dedicated homemaker and had worked at Forster Manufacturing Co. Inc. in Strong. Her biggest hobby was following her great-grandson, Josh McBean.

She is survived by her children, Joyce and her husband, Douglas, of Strong, Elaine Collis of Sun City, Ariz., and Richard Hinkley of Texas; a brother, Leslie Pinkham of Casco; grandchildren, Roi Deming of New Sharon, Cathleen Deming of California, Terrance Lake of Industry, Randy Moffett of Industry, Tanya Searles of New Sharon, Douglas Chick Jr. of New Sharon, Cheryl Chick of West Freeman, Flora Hood of Strong, Eleanor Hinkley of Bingham, Maynard Hinkley of Maine, Susie Hinkley of Bingham, Shannon Sikorski of North Carolina, Judith Collis of Arizona, Brenda Collis of New York, Paula Collis of Arizona, and Karen, Michael, Nellie, and David, all of Texas.

She was predeceased by her daughter, Christine Searles; a son, Maynard, and a son, Stephen.
