Walter I. Ward
LEWISTON – Walter I. Ward, passed away on October 4, 2021, he will be met in the afterlife by his mother (Granny) Louise, his father Leroy and his brother (Robo) Leroy, his niece Missy and his three sons. Walter was an avid sportsman, he hunted, fished and rode his four wheeler. He served in the Army, where he found his true love of alcohol. He was a member of the Frank L. Michell V.F.W. Post #3335 and Amvets Post #33, and the Hillside Sports Club in Jay, also a past commander of the American Legion Post #40 in Winthrop. He has worked many different jobs. Helped many different people. Walter will be remembered by many. Especially his wife, Kathy, his daughters, Gwen and Amanda, his son, Mert and wife Sue. Plus sisters, his 8 grandchildren and his many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and drinking buddies.
