LEWISTON — Maine Gourmet Chocolates & Specialty Popcorns, 5 Park St., recently participated in the Chocolate Lovers Fling in Portland. The event benefits the Sexual Response Center of Southern Maine and draws hundreds of chocolate-loving guests and about 20 chocolatiers. Maine Gourmet won first place in the candy/fudge category. This was the second year of participating in the event. Last year, the business won for best cheesecake.
