To the Editor:
The day was dreary and the game is all anyone could really think about. So much rode on this game and they fought to the bitter end. Those Rebels never gave up. They have had such an amazing group of kids and young men that through time have been underappreciated and forgotten. The Telstar Middle and High School football teams have fought and overcome so much.
The middle school team has been led, divided, and is now flourishing after such turbulence. They have now come together better, stronger and with their heads held High!
Telstar High School Football Rebels: Wow! This was a super, crazy, mouth-dropping season y’all had. Dedicated, record-breaking, and bittersweet. No matter, this team fought thru to the end. What you have accomplished hasn’t been done in over 40 years! The team has brought a new sense of pride to MSAD44. These last two seasons have shown our younger team what the new expectations will look like. This year they have definitely raised that bar again. Now that the season is over and we loved the way you guys brought this year. No matter what, super great job!
Seniors, Good luck with all your future endeavors, and go show the world what Rebel Pride really looks like. As for the rest of the team and newbies on the way, continue to train, be kind, and stay close cause next season is Rebel season!!!
Go Rebels!
