SOUTH PARIS — Manager David R. Feltenstein of the Oxford Pickle Co. said the plant will cease operations this fall.

The decision will mean the end of 30 jobs and a payroll of more than $100,000. The parent firm, John E. Cain Co., said it will retain the “Oxford” brand name, but all processing will be done at its plants in South Deerfield, Mass., and East Hartford, Conn.

Feltenstein said the company will accept all cucumbers contracted for this season from some 175 acres in Western and Southwestern Maine.
