LEWISTON – Hervey O. Colson at the age of 84, died on November 4, 2021 from heart complications at CMMC. The son of the late LaForest and Sarah (Perry) Colson. He was raised and educated in Rockland and graduated from Rockland High School. In his early years he worked along with his brothers at his father’s salvage business. Later on he held various jobs in Rockland before moving to Lewiston in 1959. Hervey worked at Lewiston Supply Company on Lisbon Street and other electrical & plumbing outfits until he eventually became self employed as an electrical & carpentry contractor. He is survived by his wife of 39 years Lorraine F. (Lavoie) Colson of Bowdoin, two sons from his first marriage; Darryle of Lewiston and David of Oregon, two brothers; Albert of Rockland and Charlie of Bowdoin.Funeral services celebrating Hervey’s life will be held on Friday Nov. 12th at 1:00PM in the funeral home.
