Theresa Thibodeau

BYRON – Theresa Thibodeau, 70, died Tuesday Dec. 21, 2021 at her residence in Byron surrounded by her loving family. Born in Rumford, on Sept. 1, 1951, she was a daughter of Gabriel and Irene (Foley) Chessie. Theresa was a graduate of Mexico High School and worked as a bank teller for Bangor Savings Bank. She loved spending time with her family, playing games and baking.She was married in Mexico, on Oct. 7, 1972, to Victor Thibodeau who survives of Byron. Other survivors include a son Eric of Mexico, a daughter, Carrie Lalena and husband Dennis of Dover Foxcroft, grandchildren Joshua and Sophia Thibodeau and Victoria and Dominick Lalena, brothers, Dennis of Windham, Christopher of Mexico, Joseph of Washington, sisters, Elaine Tibbetts and husband Philip Carrier of Dixfield, Mary Rinaldo and husband Tim of Dixfield, Jane Swan and husband David of Cumberland, Monica Williams and fiancé Dave of Tampa, Fla., Joanne Chessie of Cumberland, Maureen Brodeur and husband Tom of North Attleboro, Mass., brother-in-law Sidney Thibodeau and wife Kathy of New Hampshire, sisters-in-law Angela Matthews and husband Michael of Rumford and Denise Francis and husband Larry of Mexico.Friends and family are invited to sign the online guest book and share memories with the family at http://www.meaderandson.com.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 12 p.m., noon, Saturday Jan. 8, 2022 at the Parish of The Holy Savior St Athanasius – St John Church 126 Maine Ave, Rumford.
