Robert A. “Bob” Latulippe
LEWISTON – Robert A. “Bob” Latulippe, 78, of Lewiston, passed away Sunday Dec. 26, 2021, at d’Youville Pavilion. He was born in Lewiston on Jan. 10, 1943, a son of Joseph and Marguerite (Ouellette) Latulippe. Bob was educated at St. Peter’s School, graduated from St. Dominic’s Regional High School, and remained a lifelong resident of this community. He served in the U.S. Army Reserves from 1964 until his Honorable Discharge in 1970. On Oct. 10,1964, he married the former Sylvia Guay at St. Peter’s Church and together they settled in Lewiston to raise their family.
Following high school and his time in the reserves, he attended DeVry Technical School and soon thereafter, began what would be a successful career as a television repair technician. Bob started with Reggie’s TV in Lewiston and later started his own business, Bob Latulippe Electronics in 1978. He owned and operated that business until his retirement in 2005. Upon retiring from the business, he and Sylvia spent many winters in Vero Beach, Fla. Bob was a member of the Knights of Columbus and for many years, served as a Boy Scout Leader. He enjoyed traveling the world, camping, bowling, tennis, pickleball, playing cards and dancing. He always appreciated a great buffet, thoroughly enjoyed working on home projects and wood crafts, and helping his sons whenever they needed his expertise. He was a loving, devoted and hardworking husband, father, father-in-law and grandfather who will be dearly missed.
He leaves behind his wife of 57 years, Sylvia Latulippe of Lewiston; his two sons Roger Latulippe and wife Lisa of Auburn and Marc Latulippe of Newark, DE; grandchildren Nicole and Alec Latulippe; step-grandchildren Alexandra and Andrew Bazinet; and his sister Theresa Latulippe of Lewiston. Bob was predeceased by his parents. Visitation Fortin / LEWISTON Sunday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Holy Cross Church Monday 11 a.m., with Committal Prayers to follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery.
