Gene L. Pelletier Jr.

LEWISTON – Faithful and loving husband Gene L. Pelletier Jr., passed away Friday, Dec. 31, 2021, in the presence of family and loved ones at home.Gene was an active member of the book groups Road to Emmaus and Mother Marie Rivier. He was an avid angler, cross country skier and enjoyed the outdoors. He worked as plant manager, LL Bean retiree and Hospice volunteer. He served as Radarman 2/c in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.He was predeceased by parents Gene Sr. and Sylvia (née Tower).Gene is survived by his loving wife of 57 years Evelyn (née Penley) who shared all times good and poor during their grand marriage. Son David and wife Sharon; grandchildren Dan and Heather. His brother Gary and wife Elizabeth, sister Penny and husband Joe Bernier. Family also includes Doug Penley, Betty Penley and life long friend Pat. Many nieces and nephews: Jenny, Neil, Pam, Sharon, Beth, Doug, Tracy, Susan, and Cathy. And many more grand- nieces and nephews, and lots of good friends! At Gene’s wish, no wake services will be held. A Funeral Mass will be on Jan. 7, 2022, 11 a.m., at Holy Family Catholic Church 607 Sabattus St, Lewiston, Maine.
