DEAR SUN SPOTS: The monthly bean suppers at Danville Junction Grange have been popular with Sun Spots readers for many years. However, with COVID-19 ramping up, we are unable to provide these so we are doing the next best thing.

On Saturday, Jan. 22, we will hold a takeout-only bean and casserole supper, the proceeds of which will be used for the ongoing repairs to our hall.

The menu will feature pea beans, yellow eye beans, corn casserole, potato casserole, mac and cheese, Italian bread, brown bread and apple crisp. To place an order for pickup, call 312-5591 by Thursday, Jan. 20. The cost is $10 each, and you may order your selection of items.

We hope that many of our friends and neighbors will continue with their customary generous support. Sun Spots, thank you so much for helping us get the word out and all the help you give us all. You are the best! — No name, Danville

ANSWER: I hope it’s a big success!

DEAR SUN SPOTS: The quilting lady with the mouse problem (Dec. 20 Sun Spots) should get some large totes with covers to store her material. My daughter goes to the Goodwill Store in Auburn to get them. It’s hit or miss but the price is a lot less than regular retail.I’m not sure you can answer this one: We really like Chipotle in Auburn but sometimes when we go they aren’t open even though the posted hours on their website say they are. Also sometimes you can’t order on the phone, it has to be online. — Jane, no town
