LEWISTON — Ken Albert, president and CEO of Androscoggin Home Healthcare + Hospice, has been elected chairman of the board of directors for the National Association for Home Care and Hospice.
The association in Washington, D.C. is a nonprofit organization that represents the nation’s 33,000 home care and hospice organizations. It advocates for the more than 2 million health care professionals who provide in-home services to more than 12 million Americans each year.
Albert’s background includes 17 years of clinical practice in emergency and intensive care settings. He joined Androscoggin Home Healthcare + Hospice in 2016.
He serves as chairman of the board of trustees for Maine College of Health Professions and was recently appointed by Lewiston Mayor Carl Sheline to serve on the city’s Economic Development Committee.
