This month’s Kids’ Book Box theme at Lewiston Public Library is “Wabanaki Neighbors,” a book box created to celebrate and bring awareness to the Wabanaki People living in vibrant communities throughout Maine, according to a news release from Lewiston Public Library.

Each LPL Kids’ Book Box contains two books, an art project, worksheets and coloring activities, and stickers.

Book boxes are free. They need to be picked up at the library in the Children’s Department or via LPL To Go (boxes cannot be mailed) at 200 Lisbon St. One box is available per family; boxes are appropriate for those 7 to 12 years old.

To reserve a book box, see a staff member in the Children’s Department, call 207-513-3133 or email lplkids@lewistonmaine.gov.
