Recognizing that cost-effective and attainable educational pathways can help adults in south-central Maine secure economic opportunities, both organizations are dedicated to providing resources and support for adults interested in pursuing post-secondary education. Women, Work, and Community is also a founding member of College for ME-Androscoggin, a collaborative housed in LearningWorks whose aim is to double the number of college-educated residents in Androscoggin County.
