Richard “Dick” “Dickie” Robichaud
FLORIDA – Richard “Dick” “Dickie” Robichaud was escorted to heaven by angels on Feb. 12, 2022, due to complications of cirrhosis of the liver. He is survived by his loving, caring wife Jane Robichaud of Inverness Florida, sons Chris Robichaud of Auburn, and Marc Robichaud of Fort Meyers, Florida, brother Ronald of Auburn and sisters Rachel Levesque (husband Paul) of Sabattus, and Rejeanne Blackerby ( husband John) of Georgia and 4 Grandchildren, Benjamin of Auburn, Alyssa of Florida and twins Regina and Marc Jr of Florida. Dickie is also survived by his wife’s children Dan Melanson and Sharon Scribner and 3 Granddaughters, Shelby, Sierra and Brianna. He is also sorely missed by Sophie Robichaud.
He was born on October 6, 1954 to Rosaire and Rita Robichaud, educated in Lewiston schools and was employed at LAWPCA for 27 years, retiring in June 2013.
Dick enjoyed camping, hunting, especially the moose hunt of 2000, fishing, boating (we all loved the Grady White) 4 wheeling and riding his Harley Davidson. He will be fondly remembered for his talent to cook or BBQ almost anything and many ways to cook a turkey and his tasty fried dough with laughs and stories while camping.
Jane and family would like to thank the personnel at Vitas Hospice for their phenomenal care and compassion during this time along with the support and love of friends of Oasis Park in Inverness, it is truly appreciated beyond words that could be written.
A celebration of Dick’s life will be planned at a later day in Maine. “See you in a bit”
