LEWISTON – Stanley Gordon, 83, of Turner, passed away Monday, March 7, at CMMC. He was born May, 28, 1938 and retired from the Maine Dept. of Transportation in 1993, as a grader operator. He enjoyed tinkering in his garage, repairing engines, talking on the phone with family and friends, and spending time with his beloved dog, Lucky.
He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Robena of Turner; his children Cindy Mandigo of Jay, Cheryl Eye and her husband, Sean of Portland, Julie Williams and her husband, Kevin of Portland, Terri Opia Perry, and Brent Libby, both of Turner; siblings Russell Gordon and his wife, Brenda and Linda St. Laurent and her husband, Norman.
He was predeceased by his first wife, Judy; sons Chuck and Craig; sisters Marion Singer, Helen Fitzherbert, and Roberta Mason.
There will be no services per his wishes. Memories may be shared with his family at http://www.wilesrc.com. Cremation care has been cared for and provided by the Wiles Remembrance Center of Jay.
