The Lt. Robert Shand VFW Post 1641 on 330 Waldo St. in Rumford had its Installation of Officers for the 2011-12 year on May 15. Installing the officers was Arthur J. Roy, past state commander and VFW Post 1603 adjutant from Auburn. Seated in the front row from left are William O’Donnell, junior vice commander; Mike Mann, senior vice commander; Gerry Francis, Post 1641 commander; and Arthur J. Roy, installing officer. Standing in back: David D. Williams, post quartermaster; Harvey Manson, trustee three years; Al Richard, trustee two years; Ronald Roy, post adjutant/chaplain; and Peter Cormier, post surgeon.
