Walter E. Ward Jr.
FARMINGTON – Walter E. Ward Jr., of Livermore Falls, passed away Friday, April 8, 2022 at Sandy River Center in Farmington.
He was born on July 20, 1941 in Livermore Falls, the son of the late Walter Ward Sr. and Hilda (Norris) Ward.
Early on, he worked in many shoe shops in Lewiston, Auburn and Wilton. He was also a car dealer and businessman most of his life. Most recently he worked for K & R Auto in Auburn, until he suffered a debilitating stroke in 2020.
He is survived by his sons, Scott, Jamie and wife Angela, Jason, Chuck and partner Kathy, his daughter, Lisa; his grandchildren Amy, Ashley, Colin, Nicholas, Josh, Cassidy, Kassia and Brayden; brothers Raymond Ward and wife Ceneretta, Dave, Keith and partner Prudy and Kenneth Ward, sister, Belinda Poland and husband Wes; many nieces, nephews, cousins; and his former wife, Glennis.
He was predeceased by his parents; infant sons Darren and James in the early ’70s; his brother, Kevin, sister, Eleanor; sister-in-law, Paula; and his beloved wife of 40 years, Karlene Ward.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Thursday, April 14 at FINLEY FUNERAL HOME, 15 Church St., Livermore Falls. Visiting hours 4-7 p.m., Wednesday, April 13 at the funeral home. Interment Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Haines Corner Road, Livermore Falls.
