
Anita Langelier
AUBURN – Anita Langelier, 82, died Saturday, May 21, 2022, at Clover Manor surrounded by her family. She was born in Lewiston on July 27, 1939, to Fernand and Marie (Belisle) Roux. She was educated in Lewiston schools and was a graduate of St. Dominic Regional High School, class of ‘57. She was a lifelong resident of Lewiston and member of Prince of Peace Parish.In 1961, she married Richard Langelier and they created a life together spanning over 50 years. Her devotion to family was the center of her life and she was a wonderful homemaker. Over the years, she worked at several places including Morin’s Bridal World, Sears Automotive and Peoples Heritage Bank. She was a people person, and her warm smile and amazing sense of humor brought people comfort and made her excellent in customer service. Anita had a personality that drew people to her. She was warm, genuine, and accepting of all those that she encountered.She is survived by her two daughters, Pamela Giroux and partner Andy Guerin, Lisa Bisson and husband Michael, a son, Michael Langelier and wife Catherine, three brothers, Bro. Normand Roux s.c., Donald Roux, Roland Roux and wife Lori, grandchildren Jennifer Faith and husband Jared, Kimberly Guerin and partner Anthony Napolitano, Ryan Guerin and wife Megan, Haley Small and husband Alex, Joseph and Nicholas Bisson, Alex and Joe Klemanski, and Abigail Langelier, and six great-grandchildren.In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, her son-in-law Ronald Giroux and her sister-in-law Elsie Roux.Anita’s family wishes to thank the staff at Clover Manor and Androscoggin Home Health and Hospice, particularly Margaret and Laura, for the exceptional care and compassion they gave to her. Visitation will be held at the Albert & Burpee Funeral Home, Friday 5 – 8 p.m., with services in the funeral home on Saturday, 11 a.m. Interment, St. Peter’s Cemetery.
