LEWISTON — Steven English and Emmanuel Juwah have joined the board of directors of the Trinity Jubilee Center.
Located downtown, the center is a nonprofit organization serving hungry, homeless, elderly and disabled Lewiston-Auburn residents.
Trinity offers hot meals, groceries and diapers, a medical clinic, help with resume writing and job applications, and toiletries and winter coats to more than 1,000 people every week, according to a news release from the center.
English serves as a senior vice president and director of financial services and private banking at Androscoggin Bank. He is a graduate of Westfield State University.
He has also volunteered his time at the Auburn Lewiston YMCA, the Hebron Academy Parents Association, and as a youth sports coach.
Juwah is an assistant branch manager at Bangor Savings Bank. He is a graduate of business management from Imo State University and the Nigerian Institute of Management. He also volunteers his time with the Auburn-Lewiston Rotary Breakfast Club.
