Dolard Gendron is pictured with the military Jeep he donated to the L & A Veterans Council, to be added to the Veterans Memorial Park. Del drove the Jeep in the Memorial Day Parade on May 28, escorted by another Jeep owned by his son. The L & A Veterans Council will soon begin a fund drive to raise money for a six-foot high stand, which will cost around $5,000, on which to place the Jeep. They will then have a ceremony to dedicate the Jeep to all servicemen and women.
