St. Hilaire

LEWISTON — Bertrand and Jeannine (Castonguay) St. Hilaire of Lewiston recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.

The event took place at Marco’s Restaurant and was hosted by their children, Nancy Lavallee and husband, Jim, Linda Clinton and husband, Mike, Diane Rodrigue and husband, Mike, Joline Morin and husband, John, Paul St. Hilaire, Doris St. Hilaire and Colleen Sutherland. Also in attendance were the 10 grandchildren of the couple.

A slide show was presented. The original wedding party members attending were Arthur and Jeannine Obie, Jackie Lajoie, Denise Dennis, Pauline Vachon Wilder and Claude (Pete) St. Pierre. Out of town guests attended from New York and Massachusetts.

The couple was married on April 8, 1961, at St. Mary’s Church in Lewiston.
