WATERFORD — Sue Inches returns to Climate Conversations at Waterford Church on Thursday, June 16 to discuss “Bridging the Left and the Right: How to communicate across the ideological divide.”
Author, educator, and climate change advocate Susan Inches will share insights and ideas for discussion and action as part of the continuation of the ‘Climate Conversations: What Can WE Do?’ series that began in 2019. The session will run from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Wilkins House, next door to the Waterford Congregational Church, 15 Plummer Hill Road in Waterford. Inches
previously spoke last October during a program on the proposed Pine Tree Amendment.
Inches is the author of Advocating for the Environment: How to Gather Power and Take Action. In the book, she discusses storytelling, empathy, mindset, and how effective communication can help us collaborate with others, even those with opposing views. Her message is critical to addressing climate change and finding innovative ways of working together to develop effective responses.
