AUBURN — Pauline E. Cote, 75, of Bolster Heights Nursing Home, died Sunday, June 5, at the Hospice House of Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice.

She was born in Lewiston, March 23, 1936, daughter of the late Oscar and Claire Plante Madore. She was educated in Lewiston schools and prior to her retirement was employed as a fancy stitcher in local shoe shops. She was a member of Prince of Peace Parish at Holy Family Church and enjoyed playing beano and attending state fairs and day trips.

She is survived by two sisters, Juliette Madore and Pauline’s twin sister, Irene Morin, both of Lewiston; a brother, Rolland Madore of Lewiston; a son, Paul R. Cote of Auburn; two grandchildren, Paul R. Cote Jr. and Jennifer Cote; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a brother, Arthur Madore.

Pauline’s family extends a special thank-you to the entire staff of Bolster Heights Nursing Home, where she was lovingly cared for.
