The Rangeley Lakes Chamber of Commerce plans to hold its seventh annual July 3rd in the Park event from 10 a.m. until dusk.
On Sunday, July 3, the park will feature activities, food and entertainment for all ages provided by area nonprofit organizations, according to a news release from the chamber.
Festivities will start at 10 a.m. with the Children’s Doll Carriage Parade on Main Street and the Duck Race on Haley Pond.
The Frost Memorial Art Show will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Rangeley Recreation Department will again sponsor activities in the park.
The third annual Rangeley’s Great American Dog Parade starts at 2 p.m.; prizes will be awarded.
The Tom Ball Band will perform at 6:30 p.m. and lead to the fireworks show over the lake at dusk.
There will be many items to bid on at the chamber’s online auction, which runs from 7 a.m. Saturday, July 2 through 7 p.m. Monday, July 4.
