A Mass of Christian Burial for Judy J. Blanchard, of Mexico, was conducted at 10 a.m., Saturday, June 11, at St. Athanasius – St. John Church, Rumford,with Fr. Phil Tracy as celebrant.

The altar assistant was Mr. Bernard Poirier. The organist was Mr. Mark Belanger. Music included: “Be Not Afraid,” “Because the Lord is my Shepherd,” “Prayer of St. Francis,” and “Fly Like a Bird.”

Readings were given by Arita Zitoli and Ella LaPlante. The eulogy was given by Paula Richard and the poem “Loss of a Mother” was read by Pam Daigle. Presenting the gifts were Jane Bougie and Margaret Rivard.

Committal services were conducted by Fr. Phil Tracy. Interment was at St. John Cemetery, Rumford. A reception followed the services in the Parish Hall of the church. Arrangements were under the care of the MEADER & SON FUNERAL HOME.
