AUBURN — Brenda Marie Dyke, 67, of Bethel, died Saturday, june 11, at the Hospice House.
She was born in Bridgton, Jan. 2, 1944, the daughter of Herbert F. and Marie Tremble Barker. She had been employed in a local shoe shop, Newton and Tibbetts Woodmill in West Bethel, as a babysitter, and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Ring-McKeen American Legion Auxiliary in West Paris and a member of the 4-H. On Aug. 25, 1961, she married Ronald Dyke, he passed away Oct. 6, 2005.
She is survived by two sons, Darrell Dyke and his wife, Tobin, of Starks and Dana Dyke and his wife, Sheila of Albany; a daughter, Dodie Kelly and special friend, Don Black, of New Portland; grandchildren, Cricket and husband, Justin Wyman, of Stratton, Michael “Mick” Kelly, Allison Kelly and Jessica Kelly, all of Bethel, Leland Dyke and Aiden Dyke, both of Starks, Dyanna-Marie Dyke, David Dyke and Daniel Dyke, all of Albany; two brothers, Dennis Barker of South Paris and David Barker of Norway; many nieces and nephews; and many special friends.
She was predeceased by her parents; and her husband, Ronald.
