LEWISTON — Marc Ferdinand Comeau, born Oct. 17, 1953, died of natural causes June 7, in his Lewiston apartment. He graduated from Edward Little High School and lived and worked in the Lewiston-Auburn and Portland areas all his life.

He was a jack-of-all-trades, but will best be remembered as a gifted finish carpenter. Not one for the daily grind, he was looking forward to his annual Father’s Day fishing expedition and spending time with his expectant grandson.

A voracious reader, Marc, took full advantage of public libraries throughout Maine, and when visiting his children in Washington, D.C. With his signature mustache, Marc was always ready with a joke and a drink for a friend and found great pleasure in wooing the ladies.

He is survived by his daughter, Sarah Comeau and her husband, Wilian Delgado; his son, Russell Comeau, all of Washington, D.C.; his twin brother, Maurice and wife, Ann Comeau, of Farmington, and brothers, Edward “Ed” Comeau and his wife, Madeleine Levesque, of Lewiston, Paul and his wife, Noreen Comeau, of Leeds, Donald “Don” and his wife, Joyce Comeau, of Carrabassett, Normand “Norm” Comeau and his partner, Connie Morin, of Auburn and Richard “Rick” and his partner, Rhonda Mulholland, of Auburn; his sisters, Jacqueline “Jacquie” Drapeau and her husband, Reginald, of Turner, Lucille “Chickie” and her husband, Thomas Longley, of Turner, Madeleine “Maggie” Comeau of Turner, Claudette Werner and her husband, Scott, of Sullivan; Marc is also leaving behind 22 nieces and nephews; and 25 great-nieces and nephews.

Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.albert-burpee.com.
