ANDOVER — Voters will go to the polls Thursday to decide whether to raise $214,000 to keep the Andover Elementary School open for another year.
Residents will cast ballots at the Town Hall from 4 to 8 p.m. June 16 .
The RSU 44 board voted 13-3 to close the school this month and transport students to Crescent Park School in Bethel starting in September. The closure would save $214,000.
The school has 30 students in grades kindergarten to five. Two of its three teachers retired this year.
