Cooper is a sweet and loving chihuahua mix who lost his home when his family moved and could not take him. He loves people, he doesn’t mind cats, but he does not want dogs in his life. He doesn’t want to live with one, and if he sees one on the street he is going to tell it exactly what he thinks of it. He might also have the same reaction to a politician, but for the most part, it’s just dogs. In his dog-free utopia, Cooper is the best little guy and will make your heart full. He likes to walk, he likes to cuddle, he likes to sit next to you and hear about your day.

Cooper is nine years old and is looking for an adult home where he will be loved and adored. He would not be a good choice if your living situation is such that you’ll see lots of dogs on your walks, unless you enjoy him shouting doggie obscenities at them. He would love a fenced yard or leash walks in the country. Cooper really misses all the comforts of home and having special people to share his day with and tuck him in at night.

Responsible Pet Care of Oxford Hills is a no-kill, non-profit shelter and adoption center for cats and dogs, and the holding area for stray dogs for 12 towns in Oxford County. The shelter is located at 9 Swallow Road in Paris, and is open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, from noon to 4 p.m. (Other days by appointment).

Responsible Pet Care operates a thrift shop called Pawsibilities. It is located at 132 Waterford Road in Norway and is open Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. All the money raised at Pawsibilities supports RPC.
