LEWISTON — Viola Pelletier, 91, of Andover Road, Rumford, died Friday, June 24, at Russell Park Manor.
She was born in Fort Kent, Dec. 5, 1919, a daughter of Alex and Henriette (Pelletier) Madore.
Viola was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a communicant of Parish of the Holy Savior. Viola was a great cook and loved to knit and crochet. She also loved camping at Campobella.
Surviving are her children, Florence Leblanc and husband, Daniel J., of Lisbon Falls, Theresa Richard and husband, Victor J., of Rumford Center, Joseph G. Pelletier and wife, Barbara, of Rumford Center, Roland R. Pelletier and wife, Nancy, of Auburn and Ray Pelletier and wife, Margaret, of Tennessee; two sisters, Natalie Pelletier of East Enfield, Conn., and Albertine Boutot and husband, Claude, of Wolcott, Conn.; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Reginald Pelletier; four sons, twins, Harold and Gerald, Norman and Roger; two sisters, Verna Winter and Nola Ouellette; a brother, Lucien Madore; and a granddaughter, Dorraine Marie LeBlanc.
