Two local holes-in-one were reported this week.

Malcolm Hardy of Mount Vernon recorded a hole-in-one on the par-3 third hole at The Meadows Golf Club in Litchfield. Hardy used a 7-iron to cover tyhe 134 yards. Witnessing the feat were playing partners Quimby Robinson of Mount Vernon and Roger Wing from Vienna.

Andy Labrecque aced the 145-yard 13th hole at Oakdale Country Club in Mexico. Labrecque used an 8-iron. Witnesses were Gary Williamson, Don Haynes, Jeff Gurney, Don Hebert, Carroll Noyes and Richard Tibbetts.

AUBURN — Club notes: Martindale will hold its junioe golf camps beginning in July. These camps will focus on learning the game and having fun. Tournaments and prizes are included.
