The Andy Valley Knights of Columbus, Council 8742, and fourth degree Assembly 2173 recently made a presentation of a Knights of Columbus chasuble and stole to Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish Pastor Fr. Robert Lariviere. A chasuble is a long sleeveless vestment worn over the alb by a priest during services. A stole is a liturgical vestment composed of a strip of material, several inches wide, and worn around the neck by priests and bishops, for the celebration of Mass, administration of the sacraments, and ceremonies of the Blessed Sacrament. From left are Roland Bergeron, financial secretary/council church director, Lariviere, and Bruce Geoffroy, grand knight. Submitted photo
