JAY — Absentee ballots for the Nov. 8 election are available at the Jay Town Office, 340 Main St.
They will be available through Thursday, Nov. 3, for any reason. After that day voters must meet the special circumstances requirement to be eligible for an absentee ballot, according to a news release from Town Manager Shiloh LaFreniere.
Those who would like a ballot mailed can call the Town Office at 207-897-6785.
Residents also can stop by to pick one up or vote absentee in person at the Town Office.
Voting also will be held in person on Election Day from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 8, at the Jay Community Building, beneath the Spruce Mountain Middle School gym at 23 Community Drive.
