Authorities are growing increasingly concerned over the disappearance of a Gorham man whose family says he could harm himself.

Robert “Rob” Murray, 23, of Finn Parker Road in Gorham, has not been seen since he left his home just before 1 p.m. Sunday, according to a news release issued by Gorham police chief Christopher Sanborn.
Gorham police said that Murray has been acting “erratically and his family is concerned for his personal safety because he may harm himself. He has not been taking medications as prescribed.”
Multiple law enforcement agencies conducted an extensive search Sunday of the area around his home using K9s and drones, but were unable to locate Murray.
Police are asking the public to contact the Cumberland County Dispatch Center, 207-839-5581, with any information regarding Murray’s whereabouts. Murray is 5-feet-11 inches tall, weighs about 140 pounds and is a white male with blue eyes and long dark hair.
