A South Portland woman was found safe a day after South Portland police issued a silver alert Tuesday.
Candace Beaudoin, 35, has been struggling with mental health issues and was last seen leaving her home on Sawyer Street on Monday, Shannon Moss, spokesperson for the Maine Department of Public Safety, said in a statement.
Moss said Wednesday morning that Beaudoin was safely located, but provided no other details about how or where she was found.
