To the Editor:
The Museums of the Bethel Historical Society would like to invite everyone to our annual ‘Christmas at the Moses Mason House’ on Saturday, December 3 from 3-5 p.m. The Mason House will be decorated in 19th century holiday style with candlelight, fireplaces, and local greenery.
Additionally, there will be harp music, a children’s story time, and hot cider and light refreshments. During this time, horse-drawn wagon rides will be available and will load close to the Historical Museum, so join us for a lovely and timeless start to the holiday season!
There is no charge for entry to the Mason House, but as always, donations are appreciated. See you on December 3 and contact MBHS at 207-824-2908 for more specific information.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
You can read more here about our commenting policy and terms of use. More information is also found on our FAQs.
