Enough is enough.

Social Security is being targeted again and again. According to an article in the Sun Journal, Social Security overpaid $6.5 billion to people who were not entitled. And another article related how Federal Reserve Board Chairman Ben Bernanke secretly loaned U.S. funds to foreign banks.

It goes on and on. Federal officials must stop the insanity and stop paying out to insignificant programs that are useless and a waste.

President Barack Obama and other elected officials don’t give a hoot about Social Security because they don’t contribute to it.

Good, honest people have worked hard for years and contributed toward Social Security. What have officials done with that money? Social Security contributions were used to fund other programs and balance the budget and nothing was ever done about replacing that money.

Some say the problem is that people are living longer. Baloney. And there isn’t anyone out there fighting for the people, including AARP.

Want to cut spending? Don’t pay all those highfalutin Washington bureaucrats. Stop threatening the old and disabled.

Those people receiving Social Security payments haven’t had an increase in three years. Gas, food, medications and everything else continue to increase in price, so the elderly and disabled have had to struggle, adjust or go without.

The U.S. has a corrupt government and a president who has put people on the edge of despair. The government doesn’t care, nor does it treat the elderly with respect.
