Susan Lours shovels the end of her driveway Monday morning on Cross Road in Minot after a light snow fell in the area. Lours said with the small amount of snow it did not seem worth using the snowblower. A storm expected at the end of the week might mean Lours will need the snowblower then. Andree Kehn/Sun Journal
Sunday night’s snowfall was barely noticeable Monday morning. Mostly amounts of less than half an inch of snow were reported in the morning to the National Weather Service.
Another round of flurries could return Tuesday afternoon and into the night. But forecasters are more concerned with a possible nor’easter at the end of the week. This storm may bring rain and plowable snow to the region along with the chance for strong winds, according to the NWS.
