Library

BETHEL — On Friday, December 16 from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. there is a Holiday Open House at the Bethel Public Library, located on Broad Street. Folks are given an opportunity to meet the new head librarian, Kelcy Boles. She is bringing to our Public Library a new energy that is exciting! New programs are being offered that are open to all. The Library is more than a place to check out books. This open house is a chance to meet her and be a part of this new chapter for our Town Library.

Nativity

BETHEL — On Sunday, December 18, the Living Nativity will take place on the Bethel Common that starts at 5 p.m. If you have a desire to sing in the choir, folks will gather at 4 p.m. at the Bethel Inn Conference Center to warm up their vocal chords.  They are also in search of little kids who want to be shepherds or angels for this event. All folks who want to participate in this annual Living Nativity need to be at the Bethel Inn Conference Center at 4 p.m. The Bethel Alliance Church is organizing this event, which starts at 5 p.m. for the audience. The Living Nativity gives everyone a chance to focus on Jesus Christ as the reason for the season.
