CARTHAGE –New England Celtic Arts, in partnership with the Kingfield POPS,  will present “The Maine Event” at Skye Theatre Performing Arts Center on Wednesday, July 20. This will be Skye’s first live-streamed performance. The project is a pilot program for Skye, and will be produced by Nova Scotia blues singer Charlie A’Court.

A’Court has live-streamed many events throughout his native Canada and is the host of his own Song-Writers Circle and Eastcoast Song-Writers Unplugged at the Marigold Center in Truro, N.S.

“The Maine Event” will be hosted by 2010 Nova Scotia Entertainer of the year, Ian Sherwood, and will include 2009 Nova Scotia Entertainer of the year, Charlie A’Court, and 2011 ECMA triple-nominated roots singer, Carmel Mikol.
