Lucy M. Ash

LEWISTON – Lucy M. Ash, 76, of Lewiston, went home to her Savior, Jesus Christ, on Dec. 5, 2022, in Auburn, after a battle with breast cancer. She was born in Lawrence, Mass., on Sept. 25, 1946, to parents Lyman W., and Ruth L. (Anderson) Jones Sr.

Lucy enjoyed coloring, reading, and doing word searches. Earlier in life she loved to cook, watch jeopardy and westerns on TV.

She graduated from Lawrence General Hospital School of Nursing, class of 1972 and worked as a registered nurse at several places. She especially enjoyed nursing on the Navajo and Shoshone reservations.

Lucy is survived by two brothers, Joseph A Jones, and Lyman W. Jones II; her sister, Faith LaFlamme and husband Edmund J. LaFlamme; and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of her life will be held at 5 p.m., on Jan. 5, 2023, at Unity Bible Church, 541 College St., Lewiston, Maine 04240.
