NORWAY — Second Congregational Church, United Church of Christ, 205 Main Street, Norway is excited to announce that its Thrift Shoppe is reopening on Saturday, February 4, from 8:30 a.m.-noon. Thanks to generous donations from the Oxford Hills Community, the Thrift Shoppe will feature a Christmas clearance section, unique and everyday household items, dishes, glassware, books, jewelry, linens, toys, antiques and so much more.
All items are clean, in good working order, and very reasonably priced. Some are new and some are gently used.
The money raised by the Thrift Shoppe will support the many missions of our community church, which include but are not limited to: the monthly free drive-thru supper, online and in-person worship services, Sunday school, Bible study, Children’s theater, knitting, and book groups.
If you have questions, please contact the church office by calling 207-743-2290. Also, check out our website at www.seconch.org and our Facebook page at Norway’s Second Congregational Church UCC.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
