Randall “Randy” Lee Crosby
MEXICO – Randall “Randy” Lee Crosby, 73, of Mexico, passed away on Feb. 8, 2023, at home surrounded by loved ones after a lengthy battle with COPD. He was born on May 11, 1949 in Rumford to the late Howard and Dorothy (Burgess) Crosby and graduated from Mexico High School, class of 1968. After graduating, he served six years in the U.S. Army and worked at Zayre, Rumford Drive In, Ames, and Walmart. Randy will be remembered for his quick wit and ability to make others laugh with his jokes. He raised 3 wonderful children with Young Suk in Mexico Maine. He enjoyed watching the Red Sox, Patriots, and America’s Funniest Home Videos, Randy loved his canine companions over the years – Heidi, Dakota, and Rondo.
Randy is survived by his loving partner of almost 34 years, Caroline Philbrick, along with his three children: James (Stephanie) Crosby of Holden, Sue (Matt) Nee of Lewiston, and Brenda (Paul) Arsenault of Jefferson; eight grandchildren: T.J. Burgess, Kyle Hodgkins, Meagan Crosby, Kelsea Jasper, Gage Smith, Riley Crosby, Emma Smith, and Royce Crosby, and five great grandchildren: Kayden and Xayah Hodgkins, Lucas and Waylon Burgess, and Gabriel Ford.
He is also survived by brothers: Mark Crosby and companion Debbie Spaulding of Mexico and Terry (Lorene) Crosby of Mexico, and sister: Donna (Ron) Pyle of Bucksport as well as extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Wilford Crosby and Gary Burgess.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Meader & Son Funeral Home 3 Franklin Street, Rumford, ME.
